In the past, Sindang was a neighborhood that was highly populated by Mus, or Korean shamans that aimed to console spirits crossing Dongdaemun and reaching outside of the capital city. Zoosindang is an extremely unique and iconic cocktail bar that preserves such a history of the neighborhood, and follows the concept of a shaman house. In fact, the external looks of the bar follows the concept of Totemism overly well, that most people would consider it to be a shaman house without prior knowledge. Once you walk past the slightly spooky entrance, an entirely different atmosphere will be waiting for you. Each of Zoosindang’s signature cocktail menus is inspired by one of Asia’a twelve Earthly Branches. The Sindang bar offers delicious cocktails and snacks, making it a must visit bar of the neighborhood.
