A phenomenal festival of blue in the ocean, something you can only meet with great luck
The Seocheon Mudflats, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage, is one of Korea’s top three sanctuaries of migratory birds. The site’s beautiful birds and plants create an absolutely phenomenal scenery, with a splendid coastline in the background. What’s more, if you’re lucky enough during May and June, you will be able to see mystic blue lights in the Seocheon oceans. The lights are made by sea sparkles, and exactly when and where the phenomenon takes place is unpredictable. However, it is indeed one of traveling’s most exciting aspects to rely somewhat on possibility and luck.
