Jeju's signature oreum, boasting unique circular craters
Geum Oreum gained its wide popularity especially when it was presented on a popular Korean television show, 'Hyori's Homestay.' Geum Oreum is also referred to as Geumak Oreum, while the syllable 'Geum' symbolizes god. Like so, Geum Oreum is considered to be holy and valuable. The oreum offers a Cedar forest trail and a cement trail, but the latter is slightly more popular due to its splendid view. The circular crater located on the top of Geum Oreum boasts one of the best views on Jeju Island, making the location a signature photospot among travelers.
