The Wolchulsan National Park is one of the most southern located mountain ranges on the Korean Peninsula, and is an iconic sunrise destination of Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do. Due to its beautiful natural scenery, the Wolchulsan Mountain is often nicknamed the Sogeumgangsan of Honam. Numerous Buddhist temples and cultural heritages are located around the main Cheonhwangbong Peak, so you definitely won't be found bored hiking up and down the mountain.
