The Gwangan Bridge, connecting Busan's Suyeong-gu and Centum City, is a landmark bridge of not only Busan, but also Korea as a whole. The bridge is largely popular for its fascinating night view, but is also a famous sunrise spot during new years; on January 1st of every year, the bridge blocks cars from passing by and allows pedestrians to go up the bridge and wait for the sunrise, making it a popular new years destination among Busan citizens. The Gwangan Bridge has been introduced in various Korean films, dramas, and webtoons, thanks to its romantic ocean, night, and sunrise.
