Are you aware of Cheonggulmul, where water from the Hallasan Mountain run down and spring up at Gimnyeong, a village renowned for its Haenyeo culture. Located not too far away from Seogwipo, Cheonggulmul is especially unique in that it is spring water placed within the sea. Naturally cleansed through the basalt layers, the water of Cheonggulmul was widely known for being pure and cold. As a result, the spring's water was traditionally used for drinking and washing by the locals living nearby.
