A 60-year-old antique store that used to sell gold and silver in the Gwangjang Market has been reinvented into a branch of a renowned bakery cafe, Onion. Unlike other branches, Onion in the Gwangjang Market sells only a single menu, the pastry pie, which is nonetheless reviewed to be delicious due to the brand's iconic baking process. Although the cafe has a limited space, it is nonetheless charming in that you are able to enjoy pie and coffee while appreciating the unique atmosphere of a Korean traditional market. Onion Gwangjang Market is a perfect place to visit after a walk along the Cheonggyecheon Stream, when you need some coffee and dessert as a prize.
