Korea's first ever ecological park, a playground presented by nature
The Yeouido Saetgang Ecological Park is Korea's very first ecological park that opened in 1997, and is a nature friendly resting area that preserves various waterways, ponds, and trees. The park's scenery composed of willow trees, reeds, and silver grass is both peaceful and picture perfect at the same time. If lucky, you will also run into valuable organisms, such as common kestrels, Oriental magpies, butterflies, and crucian carps. The Yeouido Saetgang Ecological Park offers a number of information signs, allowing visitors to enjoy its nature comfortably. However, in order to preserve nature perfectly, the park does not offer convenience stores, street lights, or benches.
