A Busan village that started off in 1953, now full of delightful murals
Decorated under six unique themes, the Dakbatgol Mural Village began as a residential area in 1952, before becoming transformed into a mural village in 2010, with the help of artist Koo Bon-Ho and ordinary citizens. There is also a belief that if you walk up or down the hope stairs of Dakbatgol, your wishes will come true. In addition, the Dakbatgol Mural Village is a hidden cherry blossom spot. During spring, the blooming cherry blossoms near the stairs and within the village create a unique scenery together with the beautiful wall paintings.
